SHK / WHK Primatenforschung (m/f/d)

The Department of Human Origins is looking for talented and highly motivated students interested in gaining research experience and helping with any of the following topics. All necessary training would be provided by researchers in the department.

• Working with CT data, 3D digital software and segmentation techniques
• Coding of videos of ape and monkey behaviour (both from the zoo and from the wild)
• Working with 3D archaeological models
• Video capture of primates at the Leipzig Zoo

• Enrollment preferably in media design, physics, biosciences, life sciences or related fields
• Strong written and spoken English and German and the desire to work in a dynamic, international team
• Organized, observant, detail-oriented, ability to work independently, and reliable team player
• Proficiency in common operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• Experience in laboratory work is desirable but not a requirement
